You may choose the payment method for each outstanding instalment. The selected option determines that instalment’s amount; already-paid instalments are not recalculated and retain their applied promotion. Table totals assume the same method for all three instalments.
Future instalments will initially show the regular fare until you choose their payment method.
Paying 100% of the Alkimista portion in a single transaction fixes that amount for the contracted services. This does not cover payments to GH, additional services requested later or excluded expenses. Departure remains subject to the minimum participant requirement. Changes in bank fees will not trigger automatic or retroactive price increases. Any legally permitted price revision must be provided for, justified and communicated in accordance with applicable law. The agreed PROMO 1 rate will not change because of changes to card processors’ terms. Already-paid instalments and agreed due dates remain unchanged.
Three payments for bookings up to and including 14 January 2027. If you book on 14 January, the first and second instalments are both due that day. From 15 January 2027, new bookings require full payment of the Alkimista portion when booking, at the selected option’s price. Dates and cutoffs use Buenos Aires, Argentina time.
ABANCA: Visa and Mastercard, subject to availability for the card’s issuing country and transaction limits. Available options and their amounts must be displayed before confirming payment.
Accommodation
DOUBLE: one place per person in a shared room, not a whole room for two. SINGLE: one place per person in a single room.
A roommate cannot be guaranteed; if none is available, an alternative and any price difference will be agreed before confirming the change.
How to complete your registration
- Complete the Viajes Alkimista registration form.
- Request and complete the Golden Hummingbird form by emailing office@goldenhummingbird.com, copying Marcela Pazos.
- Make the initial payments: €750 directly to Golden Hummingbird and the amount due to Alkimista shown in your booking. Marcela will contact you to coordinate your registration.
Places are limited. Your registration is held for seven business days while awaiting payment. Your place is confirmed only after both forms and both payments have been checked; payment in this shop alone does not confirm payment to Golden Hummingbird.
Additional charges and services not included
ADDITIONAL PAYMENT AT DESTINATION: €60 per passenger, not included in the package price. Payable to the tour leader in Pamplona at the start of the trip as a tip for the bus driver. Santiago hotel taxes and all other expressly excluded services are also not included.
Flights, arrival or departure transfers unless expressly booked, drinks, lunches, dinners, porterage, personal expenses, travel insurance, and any services or admission fees not expressly included are excluded. See the Spanish itinerary and services or the English version.
The departure requires 26 participants with confirmed contracts and payments up to date. If this minimum is not reached, the cancellation decision and written notice must be completed no later than 1 March 2027 at 23:59, Buenos Aires time, the hotel cut-off date and time.
If Alkimista cancels for this reason, it will refund in full the amounts received by Alkimista, without the voluntary cancellation charges, within a maximum of 14 calendar days of cancellation, without prejudice to applicable statutory rights.
An alternative for a smaller group may be offered with expressly stated terms and price. Acceptance will be voluntary and documented; no supplement will be charged automatically. GH will explain how amounts it has received will be handled, without excluding any statutory liability.
Medical insurance and travel assistance
Medical insurance and travel assistance are not included. Before travelling, each passenger should check the requirements applicable to their nationality, residence and itinerary, and ensure they have appropriate cover. Consult Spain’s official consular information and select the consulate and procedure relevant to your circumstances. Viajes Alkimista offers special rates for group members: contact us to discuss the options. You may also consult your trusted insurer, especially if you live outside Argentina, and choose suitable cover. This notice is informational: it does not establish a universal entry requirement or require you to purchase insurance through Alkimista. Cancellation cover is different from medical assistance; check each policy’s terms and exclusions.
Voluntary cancellation by the traveller
Cancellation must be notified in writing to reservas@viajesalkimista.com, stating the traveller’s name and booking number, by a means that allows receipt to be evidenced. The following cancellation bands apply exclusively to the Alkimista portion. All deadlines use Buenos Aires, Argentina time.
- Up to and including 10 February 2027: €600 processing charge per person. The remainder paid to Alkimista is refunded.
- From 11 February 2027 at 00:00 until the end of 1 March 2027: 50% of the total price contracted with Alkimista.
- From 2 March 2027 at 00:00, including no-shows: 100% of the total price contracted with Alkimista.
These bands are not cumulative: no additional €600 is added to the 50% or 100% cancellation charges. The calculation excludes the €750 payable to GH. These terms remain subject to statutory exceptions and justification of charges where required.
Cancellation insurance is recommended, subject to the cover and exclusions of the policy purchased.
Specific group terms
These specific terms supplement the General Terms and Conditions of Viajes Alkimista; they do not replace them. Each participant must reply in writing to confirm acceptance. Failure to reply does not constitute acceptance. Acceptance does not waive non-waivable rights.
Each participant must contact GH directly at the start of the registration process. GH will provide full information about its services and its booking, payment and cancellation terms. Viajes Alkimista collects only its own portion and does not communicate or accept terms on behalf of GH. This separation does not exclude any liability imposed by applicable law.
